Todd Richter’s Enduring Commitment to IU’s Finance Future

Todd Richter, a distinguished alumnus of Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business (MBA, 1981), has transformed the university’s finance programs with a $5 million Todd Richter Fund. This generous estate commitment strengthens the Graduate Finance Department, supports the Dean’s office at Kelley, and provides graduate fellowships to empower the next generation of finance professionals. The fund also creates two endowed professorships in securities analysis, with resources distributed evenly to maximize its influence across the university.

Richter’s philanthropy is rooted in his remarkable career spanning over three decades in financial healthcare. Since 1999, he has served as a managing director in Bank of America’s global healthcare investment banking group, earning recognition as a top Wall Street analyst. His 18 years at Morgan Stanley in healthcare services equity research further cemented his reputation. This endowment reflects Richter’s gratitude for his IU education, ensuring future students have the tools to succeed in the dynamic world of finance.
